Become an Archer: How to Aim at Different Rings of People Relationships

Dr. Wallace Season 1 Episode 17

We have different people relationships to manage. These relationships are like concentric rings, like the target of an archer.

Archers cannot choose the battlefield. Archers stand with their legs firmly planted on the ground to have a solid base for shooting. But the master of archery tells us that a great archer cannot always choose the battlefield.

Inspired by the book The Archer, written by Brazilian author Paulo Coelho. The book tells a story about a young man seeking wisdom from an elder, who is a master of archery. There are many insights we can learn to build the rings of relationships from Design Thinking perspective.

In this episode, we will use an archer metaphor to discuss how we should handle the segmented rings of human relationships by Design Thinking.
